Thaifex – World of Food Asia is the central platform for the food and beverage business in Southeast Asia. More than 1,000 exhibitors are expected to showcase their products at the trade fair this year. In 2007, 20,933 trade visitors from 102 countries visited the event and more are expected in 2008. Country groups expected to take part this year are Australia, Brunei, China, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Peru, Philippines, Spain and Taiwan. Thaifex – World of Food Asis covers four pillars: Food & Beverage featuring Halal Food, Food Catering & Hospitality Services, Food Technology and Retail & Franchise, the show is showcasing all related food sectors. Besides a comprehensive exhibition, an educational supporting program will be presented. The seminars cover a few broad topics such as market trends, health food and food technology.
